Working principle
Pipe cleaning requires the use of a special pig to sweep the line. When the pipe is pushed forward in the pipeline under the action of pressure, the debris in the pipeline will be pushed forward by the pipe pig because the leather bowl of the pipe pig is close to the pipe wall. When the pipe reaches the pipe outlet, the debris is removed from the line.
The working principle of a pig lies in its mechanical properties. It can make use of the scraping function of its own or attached tools. Pig Transmitter of Disc Pig
The pig can be equipped with an electronic transmitter that emits a pulse signal while running in the pipe. The signal can penetrate the tube wall and soil layer and be picked up by a receiver on the ground. Therefore, once foreign matter blocks the pig, the positioning receiver can be used to find the pig on the ground along the pipeline. The receiver can accurately determine the position of the pig in the pipeline. To provide an accurate and reliable basis and guarantee for the cleaning and decontamination treatment of pipelines.
Disc Types
Top Disc
The top disc is a straight plate at the top end of the pig. It enables the pig to pass through a variety of corners and flares when running in the pipe. The cone or funnel-shaped roof design can reduce the friction between the pipe walls and improve the cleaning effect. When in use, you should keep the roof at an appropriate distance from the pipe wall to avoid hitting the pipe wall and damaging the roof.
Bottom Disc
The bottom plate is the bottom straight plate of the pig. It generally works in guiding the cleaner inside the pipe and helps it pass through narrow areas such as corners, mutations and crossings. The design structure of the bottom plate has three types: adsorption type, excavation type, and elastic type. As far as its characteristics are concerned, the elastic bottom plate has a certain flexibility, and can be bent with the bending of the pipeline, and can better clean the area with a large Angle in the pipeline.
Middle Disc
The middle plate is one of several vertical plates arranged in the upper part of the pig. It supports and bears the weight of the entire pig, and balances the direction of the pig in the pipeline. The center plate can be flexibly adjusted according to the diameter and use of the pipe to adapt to different cleaning purposes.
